Banana Cake

  • 125 g Butter
  • 120 g raw sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 medium bananas
  • 280 g Self Raising Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Bi Carb Soda
  • 2 tablespoon Milk or Buttermilk
  • pinch of salt

Recipe's preparation

    Banana Cake
  1. Preheat oven at 180 degrees.

    Mix sugar for 10 seconds on speed 9.

    Add butter and cream on speed 5 for 10 seconds.

    Mix again on speed 5 and add one egg at a time for about 10 seconds.

    Add bananas and mix again for about 10 seconds.

    Add flour, salt, bi-carb soda and milk and mix for 20 seconds on speed 5.

    Bake for about 30 minutes.

    You could add choc chips and mix on Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" for 10 seconds or grate some chocolate at the beginning and set aside and add with the bananas.

    Have made this a few times now only changed the sugar quantity to 100g and added tsp cinnamon have also made it as muffins and added choc chips.Great recipe, works perfectly every time .

    Livy01:you don’t add cream. You ‘cream’ the butter and sugar together.

    Giving it a go now but there is no cream on the ingredients list however it says add butter and cream? Any idea how much cream I add??

    So good! I cooked mine at 160 fan and it needed about 10mins extra cooking time. I also added choc chips and cooked it in a large square tin. Truely amazing and doesn’t need icing. Thanks for sharing🥰

    So lovely didn't add any sugar just a bit of honey. Cooked for 15min longer on 160
