Tip
Save $$ and space; no more buying cans of coconut milk!
For even more eco friendly use of your fresh coconut crush the shells and use as fuel to BBQ satay (Thanks to Meilda-great tip!)
Easy to make a small amount for the curry you are making. Just do this process after you have made your paste or spice mix. adjust amounts as per what you need.
Does keep in fridge.

Hello!
Great recipe! Does anyone know how long it keeps fresh in the fridge?
This is perfect and saves a lot of money
This worked out great, thanks!
I chucked it all in before I realised you're supposed to grind the coconut first and it still worked well, I used it in a date and honey loaf
Hi,
I tried this and ended up with lumps of cream floating in water, even when I strained it! Was it the coconut? Should I try using heat instead? Thank you
I have now done this with dessicated coconut and fresh coconut. I have tried both the heated version and this version. Think I prefer this version with fresh coconut most of all.
Thank you, sooo easy to make. Will not buy tinned again. I blended mine 3 times and it was perfect, no need to strain.
Doesnt this recipe only make 500ml? Love it though!
This is the raw food friendly version, use heat for a richer result. see recipe for coconut milk heated.
