waterlin:no. Much too hot. That will kill your yeast. Choose 35.
Used a vit c tablet for bread improver, ground it first then followed recipe with exception of adding 1tsp sugar. Absolutely delicious! Will make again and again. Thanks for sharing.
I love this bread has turned out great every time I cook it but I add some salt and a tad of sugar.
Can't wait to try this. Made the buttermilk bread from basic cook book today but it's very dense bread.mtastes great, just not luff looking like this one
The best bread recipe I have found to date. worked great!!
Fantastic worked just great! Thanks
Made this today and it was so easy. I haven't had much luck with sandwich bread but this was wonderful. Thanks
No way - choose 35!
50 degrees C may work for you, but bread should be risen at 37 degrees C. This is blood heat. The high temp of 50 degrees C may kill the yeast.
I am in the process of making this bread now. The recipe calls for putting in the oven at 50 to rise. I have the option of 35 or 60 on my oven. Is it okay to put it in at 60?
