I made these last night as I fancied a burger but had no buns. They were fabulous!!! The only different thing I did was accidentally threw the egg in with the dough (oops!) and did a double rise. They were so light and fluffy. Super texture.

great recipe although strange quantities. I had to guess the yeast, as we only have a bigger tube of it, so used 1+1/4 tsp, and just rounded up the salt to 10g.

I made them eariler in the day and they took a little longer, but came out beautifully!
Before we served i buttered and placed back in the oven to soften up! and everyone rated them tmrc_emoticons.D

    Help!
I divided mine into 8...made 4 large rolls for burgers and did the other 4 in logs to freeze for garlic bread- going by these comments mine should've been alot fluffier - they still tasted good but were a bit heavy and dense... 🤔

these were amazing. I made 12 from the mixture and they were a perfect size for largish sliders. For a bigger burger i think ill make 8 from the batch.

    Thanks!!

These are really delicious. I wasn't sure they had risen well due to the cold weather but once cooked they ended up big, gorgeous and soft!

    Fantastic buns!!

Another super duper bread recipe - I made 24 medium sized rolls out of this, perfect for my not-quite-medium burgers - and absolutely delicious with some coronation chicken!! Thank you - definitely a keeper!
