Tip
I loved the softness of the steamed bread and so did my 4 year old boy. However my husband and 6 year old preferred the bread to be toasted. Just pop in the toaster, or under the griller.

Made this tonight to have with lasagne. House smert great and the bread is delicious. Sliced and wrapped the remainder in individual pieces to freeze and have with leftovers. I did end up with a depression in he middle top which filled with condensation, possibly due to the fact that it triples in size, still cooked well tho except one small soggy part 😁
This steamed loaf worked great. House smelt awesome as it rose, and Makes such a cute little loaf. Slices well, and so good not to have to turn on the oven!
Does anyone know if this bread works if I cook the garlic, parsley and rosemary in oil instead of butter?
Thank you ~ utterly delicious ! YUM ! Everyone loved it !
Kymberley.
Great idea! I'll be trying that on the weekend.
I made these as small rolls, absolutly delicious
Thank you for sharing this! I like the idea of steamed bread as it gives 'healthier' feel. Made this and got positive feedback...even I myself like it. Would definitely add this into my recipe list so that I can make them anytime
