I just made a double batch of these, but it just turned out as a bowl full of slop. And yes my coconut oil was solid, not liquid. I fixed it by adding some more coconut and a scoop of vanilla protein powder. End product was fairly tasty.
Substitued nuts for cashews & peacans. Definately increase the recipe, I tripled it and only made 12 small balls. Only used half the coconut oil. Nice flavour and easy to make. Perhaps the texture would be better if the nuts weren't so finely chopped.
I tripled this recipe but because my coconut oil was at room temp it turned into a big sloppy mess! Now to come up with something to use it all up!!!
THANK U!!! Love, love, love, always have a batch in the freezer
I tripled the recipe, used pine nuts instead of almonds (my daughter can't have those) and also added the same amount in pecans as well. When finished it was still a bit too wet so I added another handful of dates plus a good handful of dried apricots. Turned out very yummy!! Thanks for the recipe!
These balls are heavenly!!!
Deeeevine!!
