- 1/2 teaspoon raw Organic Honey
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds, (optional)

Soak the quinoa overnight with a little bit of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.
Add the quinoa to the Thermomix basket with 500g water and cook for 15 minutes at 100C on speed 4.
Discard the water and add the blueberries to the TM bowl and blend for 4 minutes at 70C on speed 3.
Mix the blueberry syrup with the quinoa and mix with chia seeds, cinnamon and honey.
Tip
Preparation time does not including soaking the quinoa.

I made this one weekend, and to be honest, wasn't very inspired. I ended up mixing some yoghurt through it to liven it up a little. I also added some chia seeds for a little bit extra "superfoodieness".
Admitedly, I've never done anything with Quinoa or even eaten it before, and I'm still not 100% sure that the grains turned out quite right at the end. To check that I had the right stuff, do they look like oversized poppy seeds?

If you forget to soak the quinoa the night before, put some baking paper in the bottom of the basket and put the rinsed and drained quinoa in on top. Set the TM for 20 mins on 100oC speed 4. Remove the baking paper being careful of the steam(the quinoa should be puffed up enough not to fall through the basket by now) then cook for 10 mins longer on 100oC speed 4.
I love this recipe my very favourite indulgent brainy breakfast. I used fresh blueberries and get a beautiful colour. I also have put the honey in with the blueberries by mistake and turned out just perfect. Thanks for sharing!
A really easy, tasty breakfast.I don't feel like mine looked a deep a purple as the one in the picture, so I would probably make a syrup from about 90g of blueberries. But otherwise, a great recipe!
