Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Easy and quick to make.
Really yummy. I didn't have any cream so just used 440g milk and 60g Bailey's for an extra touch. Looking forward to trying it cold as well.
Best ever ... I made with dark chocolate and was a little disappointed at first thinking I should have used milk choc but after 24hrs was like eating choc Yogo straight from the container !!!!
Hubby thinks this is really nice! ( I can't taste too good as have a head cold ) but of course I had some and you can feel the smoothness in it! im sure the kids will love it tomorrow cold when they get to have it too!
Definitely being added to my recipe collection for future making
I wanted to make something quick to stretch a meal out, and this custard fitted the bill.
It was smooth and silky very rich and, in my opinion tasted better cold.
Will definitely make again - thank you for posting
Oh my goodness!!!! My family loved this custard. A quick, delicious dessert. I replaced the milk and cream for milk for 500g of rice milk and it was thick and creamy. Wow!
