TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

This is a staple in our house every Christmas. I make it gluten free too
CKenn:
I use a metal one
Hi Wendy - can I use a metal pudding steaming bowl in varoma?
Kim_LA:
I use my pudding steaming bowl which is 1.5 litre. I cover it with baking paper as it won't fit in varoma with the lid on.
I have updated the method to make it easier
Enjoy and please rate if you do
I substituted the flour for gluten free flour - wasn't sure how it would go, but it was still delicious. I will definitely be making this one again. So good. I used whatever dried fruit I had in the cupboard which ended up being a combination of saltanas, dates and glacé cherries - really yum!
Super easy and super tasty! Freezes perfectly in portions as well. Currently making one for my parents to give them for Christmas right now after testing for myself last week
Absolutely delicious
