I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Add all ingredients to the TM bowl and mix on sp1 50degrees for 5 minutes. You may need to scrape down in side of TM bowl half way through this step.
Pour finished product into a sterilised jar. One with a narrow top will help with pouring of the topping onto your ice cream.
Try adding a few drops of natural peppermint or orange essence for a few different flavour options, you can also try white choc with strawberry essence for strawberries and cream.Makes approximately 250gm
DO NOT refridgerate -
You can make double or more batches, you will just need to increase the cooking time to compensate, so all ingredients are dissolved through the oil. Depending on your location, coconut oil in the final product may slightly seperate or become harder in cooler weather. Just pop the jar into a bowl of hot water -or microwave
to help liquify before use.
A much healthier option for you and your children to enjoy!

Have been hunting for something like this, but am confused. It states 60 g Organic Cacao Powder, can substitue with cacao or carob or cooking chocolate, choc chips, as long as it makes up the 100g. 60g or 100g or should it be 60g of Cacao powder with 40g of other chocolate.
Made tonight, easy recipe, had all ingredients on hand & the kids loved it! Looking forward to trying some different flavours! Thank you
Winner! Given a thumbs up by the 9yr old fussy eater of the family. That's massive in our home
Great recipe and keeps well. Love using coconut oil, very clever as it hardens really well on the icecream - nothing artificial here.
After trying several different ice cream sauce recipes, this is by far the best one and I will definitely be making it again. Very happy with the results, I used cacao powder and maple syrup. I will be trying different variations to see how it affects the end product. Sauce has coconut flavour from the oil.
