I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Base
Lightly grease a lamington tin.
Place Mars Bars into Mixing Bowl and grate for 10 sec / speed 9.
Add butter and honey into Mixing Bowl. Cook for 3 mins / 100 degrees / speed 3.
Add rice bubbles into Mixing Bowl. Mix 10 sec / "Counter-clockwise operation" / speed 3.
Scrape down sides of bowl. Mix 5 sec / reverse / speed 3.
Press base mixture into the greased lamington tin. Press down firmly with a fork.
Place in refrigerator to set, approx. 1 hour.
Top
Place chocolate into Mixing Bowl and grate for 10 sec / speed 9.
Melt chocolate for 3.5 mins / 50 degrees / speed 3. Check half way to see if sides need scraping down. If you find the chocolate is binding into a ball, put the speed up to speed 4.
Pour melted chocolate over base and spread evenly.
Place back into refrigerator to set, at least one hour.
Serve
Once chocolate is set, remove from refrigerator and leave for about 10 mins. Then remove slice from tin (may need to run knife around tin, tip slice onto chopping board by lightly tapping on bottom of the tin).
Cut into squares and serve.
Store in refrigerator in an airtight container.

8032tracy: I use golden syrup. Delicious!
Easy to make. A winner in my family 😃
Easy to make and few ingredients which is great! I did find i could taste the honey though and we are not honey fans. Do you think we could reduce the honey in the mix and still come together????

Sorry to hear that the icing didn't work for you. If there is a little bit of water in the bowl (from not being completely dried) it can cause the chocolate to do this. I find that putting the speed up a bit can help
I made the icing twice today and both times it went into lumps and didn't melt at all even melting it for longer.
Very easy and quick to make. My 6yo made this today. Thanks for sharing...
So yummy! Have just made a second batch as a request for a baby shower! Thanks for the recipe
A Naughty treat in our house, but well worth it. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
I made this last night, but the butter and mars bar never came together. I didn't realise this till I poured out the finished mixture, and all the melted butter poured straight into the dish.
So easy to make and so yummy!
