- Add gluten free weetbix and active balance cereal to the bowl - MC on / 3 sec / sp5.
- Add sunflower seeds, pepitas, sesame seeds, tahini, goji berries, salt, to the bowl - MC on / 5 sec / sp7.
- Add carob powder, flaxmeal, dessicated coconut and coconut crunch to the bowl - MC on / 5 sec / sp3 "Counter-clockwise operation" (this is just to incorporate it gently.
- Add maple syrup, coconut oil and dates to the bowl - MC on / 5 sec / sp8 (or if the mixture comes together quicker than the 5 seconds you can stop the tmx sooner).
- Tip mixture from tmx bowl into another container and from there press into your Thermomix snack bar mould or roll into approximately 16 balls. If the mix becomes dry or too sticky, dip your fingers into the reserved date water ensuring it's not still boiling first .
Tip
You can play around with the ingredients to suit your own tastes including a different type of breakfast cereal.
I came up with this recipe as my daughter has to be dairy/gluten/nut/cocoa/cacao free for medical reasons. Enjoy!

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
