Ingredients
- 80 g Celery, (about 2 sticks)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 carrot, roughly chopped
- 1 brown onion, halved
- 1 sprig fresh basil, leaves only
- 50 g olive oil
- 400 g Beef mince
- 1 bay leaf
- salt and pepper to taste
- pinch ground nutmeg
- 50 g water
- 50 g tomato paste
- 370 g tomato puree, (passata)

Place celery, garlic, carrot, onion and basil into mixing bowl and chop 5-7 sec/seepd 7.
Add beef, bay leaf, salt, pepper and nutmeg and cook 10 mins/100degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1.
Add all remaining ingredients and cook 15-20 mins/100degrees/"Counter-clockwise operation" /speed 1. Remove bay leaf before serving.
Serve sauce warm with freshly cooked wholemeal pasta and parmasan cheese.
