White coloured beans have been chosen for this recipe to match the white meat of the turkey or chicken. Canelloni beans are also known as white kidney beans.

This recipe is a great way to use Christmas Dinner left-overs.

Excellent and very tasty, but my tomatoes seemed to disappear into a purée, maybe fresh whole tomatoes would be better?

LOVED this! I used cannellini beans and 700g of chicken. Served it with fresh bread rolls and garlic butter - clean plates all round.

The next day, we took some of the leftovers, reheated and then strained the excess liquid out and served it in the soft stand n stuff tortillas with sour cream and cheese.

    Highly recommended.

Oh wow! I made this tonight, didn't have leftover chicken so I cooked 2 breasts first in oven with vegetable stock and water covering it. It was delicious. I used fresh tomatoes and fresh soaked chickpeas.  Yum!
