- 360 g cabbage, (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon oil

Place garlic in TM bowl and chop for 6 seconds on speed 7
Add oil and meat and saute for 2 minutes at 100°C on "Counter-clockwise operation" and "Gentle stir setting"
Add cabbage and saute for 5-7 minutes at 100°C on "Counter-clockwise operation" and "Gentle stir setting"
Add salt to taste
Puree for 5 seconds on speed 7 if desired to make it less chunky
Serve with rice or noodles

Great recipe. I also made spring rolls. Added 2 shallots and a portion of leak in with the garlic, added 300g mince, only 200gm cabbage. Cooked on speed 1. Also added salicylate free oyster sauce and soy sauce for flavour. Served with a dipping sauce- failsafe pear BBQ sauce from domesticdivaunleashed.com
I love this! It may not be traditional, but I use it as a filling in spring rolls with bean sprouts, steamed dumplings and even lettuce wraps with omelete & cashew nuts & a failsafe asian style sauce... YUM! Thank you
This is really nothing like real Chow Mein, but it is the only thing I think it vaguely resembles in order to name it
