I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Place bread in TM bowl and turn it into breadcrumbs by milling on speed 8 for 8 seconds - set aside.
Add garlic and chop 3 seconds/speed 7.
Add onion and carrots and grate for 5 seconds/speed 7.
Add meat and mince 15 seconds speed 7.
Add egg, creamed corn, breadcrumbs from first step and herbs, mix on speed 5 for 10 seconds.
Roll into small to medium sized balls and place on a plate in the fridge while you set the mash and sauce going (tip - put bowl back in place and turbo for 1 second to get remaining meat out). I made approx 35 balls.
Once you have set the mash etc going, put meatballs on a non-stick tray and bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
Preparation:Place the onion, garlic, mushrooms and butter into the TMX bowl and chop for 10 seconds on speed 5 then cook for 3 minutes at 100 degrees, speed 2.
Add water, pepper and stock, mix on speed 9 for 20 seconds.Place the steam basket into TMX bowl and add potatoes.
Cook for 30 minutes/varoma temperature/speed 3.
Remove steam basket. If there is a build up of mushroom in the steam basket, scrape into the TMX bowl. Add the cornflour and cook for 2 minutes at 100 degrees on speed 4 to thicken the gravy. If you like a thicker sauce then add a little more cornflour and cook again on 100 degrees on speed 4 for 2 minutes
To make mash you need to remove the gravy and rinse the TMX bowl if you want a white mash (I don't rinse).
Check that the potatoes are cooked until almost falling apart. If they are not cooked enough add them into your bowl with milk and cook a little longer. If they are fully cooked add milk and extra butter. Mix on speed 4 until they reach your desired consistency (usually 10-20 seconds)
Serve potato on plate with some veggies and meatballs, then pour sauce over the top.

Tip
you can add the varoma and steam your meatballs and some veg at the same time instead of cooking in an oven, just add 5 minutes to cooking time

This was delish! Will be making again for sure!
We really enjoyed this meal. I'll definitely make it again but only use 1 carrot in the meatball mixture.
