Pork, fennel and apple meatballs
Tip
These are really tasty and so easy. Pork, apple and fennel are such a great combination. I love to use my Varoma and meatballs can be so fiddly if you have to cook them in the fry pan, but the Varoma gives a great result and you don’t have to stand there turning them.
I used granny smith apples and it gave a great flavor but any apple can be used.

Comments
Loved how moist the apple made these. Listened to other comments and added 1 clove garlic and 2cm knob of ginger to meatball mixture. Everyone loved them.
I loved the way the meatballs were so tender however the overall dish was a little bland for our tastes. I think if I made it again I would add some extra zing - maybe chilli? Still a good dish but subtle flavours.
These were soooo yummy! Thank you! I love steaming meatballs with the thermomix and have quite a few recipes but I think these are my favourite! Kids loved them too
Thankyou Nicky for such an easy, tasty, all occasion, healthy dish. I have made this multiple times and its always remarked upon and I dont know what I'd do without them!!!
