Yummy with mashed potatoes and beans, definitely half the sauce and even then there's a lot left over. I lightly pan fried the meatballs after cooking in Varoma to make sure they were cooked through and make them tastier

Wow! This is amazing! I tried to make this an all in one recipe by adding the potatoes in the middle tree and adding peas in the top. Didn't work very well as the potatoes wouldn't cook properly neither did the meatballs. I ended up frying the meatballs. My fault!

The flavours were divine though! Can't wait to make this again!

Great, easy to prepare, found I needed to thicken the sauce a bit more so added 1 tsp flour and cooked another 5 minutes. Only made half the volume of sauce and there was plenty. Highly recommended if you are pushed for time. good with pasta or mash potato as well.Smile

I added an extra 2 tbs plain flour to help thicken the sauce. I used the extra sauce the next night over pasta as an almost-Alfredo. Hubby and 2y/o polished off happily both nights.

Family favourite! Sauce is amazing but like others I reduced the liquids to both 300ml and it still made plenty!! Parnter raved so much about it I had to print the recipe off for his workmate to give to his wife!Lol

I have made these twice. Does make way too much sauce and it could be thicker but flavour is yum.
