I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Turn on your Thermomix. Put the lid on and place a measuring cup or jug on top and weigh in the cornflour, stock paste and water. Mix together with a spoon and set aside.
Put the onion in the bowl and blitz 3 seconds / speed 7
Add the oil and saute 2 minutes / 100o / speed 1
Add the water, flour and stock mix to the bowl and cook 1 minute / 70o / speed 1
Add the chicken, the honey and the mustard and cook for 5 minutes / 100o / "Gentle stir setting" / "Counter-clockwise operation"
Add the sour cream and cook 15 minutes / 100o / "Gentle stir setting" /"Counter-clockwise operation"
Serve with rice or vegetables.
Tip
This makes a lot of sauce so you could increase the amount of chicken without needing to increase the sauce ingredients.
I usually make this with Light Sour Cream but it works just as well with the full fat version. You can reduce the cream if you like a less creamy sauce but would recommend a minimum of 100g. You can substitute a teaspoon of chicken stock powder for the stock paste.

Great tasting recipe
Very yummy & easy to make. Thank you.
Yummy and so easy! Great family meal. Thank you!
Delicious. Only had thickened cream so used that, tasted awesome.
This recipe was really tasty, my son is a honey/mustard chicken expert and he said it was the best he's had. I added in sliced carrots when I started cooking the chicken, and then added some broccoli in the last 7minutes of cooking. I also used 1000gms of chicken and kept the liquids the same as the recipe. It turned out beautifully. Thanks so much for the recipe!
Very nice, thanks. I didn't have any sour cream so I used 120 grams of plain greek yoghurt instead. It was still really yummy (and probably a little healthier anyway!)
Thanks, this was a delicious easy recipe! Definately a great go to for easy quick weeknight meal! A little on the plain side for my hubby so if you fancy more oomph maybe add some pepper or spice but I loved it how it was.
Fantastic! Thankyou!
Absolutely delicious. I used 100gms sour cream and it was still a little runny. I'll add more corn flour next time
Very yummy, a little too watery so I added extra cornflour
