Ingredients
Dahl
- 1 medium brown onion
- 10 grams oil, I used olive
- 4 level teaspoons curry powder
- 120 grams red lentils
- 4 Large Tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon TM Veggie Stock
- 1 Cup of water, 250 mls
- 50 grams Baby Spinach Leaves
- 4 tablespoons Natural greek yoghurt
- coriander leaves for garnish

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
chop onion - speed 5 , 2 seconds
Mix 4 teaspoons of curry powder to a paste with a little water in the mc
add to chopped onion with the oil and cook for
4 minutes / speed 1 / temp 80
Add lentils ,1 cup of water ,1 teaspoon of TM vegie stock ,4 large roughly chopped tomatoes and cook reverse"Counter-clockwise operation" , speed 1 , temp 90 , 15 minutes , mc on
While this is cooking wash spinach and place in the Thermoserver
( if you dont have a Thermoserver you can add spinah at the end and stir through)
After 15 minutes remove mc and continue cooking ,
same tempreture for another 10 minutes ( by this stage the lentils should have begun to soften )
once cooked place in thermoserver .
spoon yoghurt on top and ganish with coriander
or you can serve in a shallow serving dish when ready
yummy served with Chapatis
Tip
This recipe is a fantastic meal for diabetics , as it helps keep the BGL under control
I used a mild Indian curry powder , but use a "hot "powder if you like some heat
