Ingredients

- 50 grams brown rice, rinsed
- 900 grams water
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 3-4 --- garlic cloves
- 300 grams button mushrooms, chopped
- 175 grams fresh spinach leaves
- 300 grams canned borlotti beans, drained
- 1 orange capsicum, deseeded, finely chopped
- 55 grams flaked almonds
- 55 grams Parmesan cheese, chopped into cubes
- 2 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 55 grams fresh wholemeal bread, ripped into pieces
- 2 tbsp wholemeal flour
- 1-2 beef tomatoes, thickly sliced
- Salt and pepper, to taste

1. Weigh and wash the rice in the TM basket. Add 900g water to the TM bowl and place basket inside. Cook the rice for 20 minutes at 100 °/speed 2. Drain and set aside. Clean and dry bowl.
2. Place Parmesan cheese and wholemeal bread into the bowl. Grate for 9 seconds/speed 9. Set aside.
3. Chop garlic for 3 seconds/speed 7. Scrape down sides of bowl.
4. Add oil and mushrooms and sauté for 3 minutes/100 °/speed 1.
5. Reserve 25g spinach leaves and place all remaining ingredients except the flour into the bowl. Press briefly 3-times/1 second/"Closed lid" /Turbo.
6. Shape into 6-8 equal sized burger patties. Coat in the flour then cover and leave to chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
7. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a non-stick frying pan and cook the burger patties for 5-6 minutes each side, or until golden and cooked through. Meanwhile, brush the tomato slices with the remaining oil and grill for 6 minutes, turning once, until softened.
8. Serve with tomato, reserved spinach, cheese and sweet chilli sauce on wholemeal burger buns.

These were incredibly delicious, but the mix was VERY sloppy. I had leftover quinoa, so I used that instead of rice, but I doubt that wuld have made much of a difference to the consistancy. I added all the breadcrumbs I had, but I still had no hope of "shaping into patties", I used a ladle and bbq'd spoonfuls at a time. Still worked, people raved about them. The basil in this recipe makes them really stand out.
I came across this today, just have to say im super excited to try these tomorrow and give you a review!
