  • 1 litre chicken stock
  • 60 grams Nuttelex butter
  • 2 Medium onions, Cut in half
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 400 grams Aborio Rice
  • 200 gram mushrooms, Sliced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onions and garlic in bowl: 5 seconds - speed 5
  2. Add butter: 2minutes - 100° - speed 1
  3. Place butterfly whisk on & scrap sides for onions and garlic
  4. Add rice to bowl: 30 seconds - Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" reverse speed lowest speedGentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"
  5. Add 250ml of chicken stock to rice: 10minutes - 100° -Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" reverse speed lowest speed Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting" (if you use chicken stock cube with boiled water I recommend 5minutes instead)
  6. Add 250ml of stock & 1tbsp of parsley: 5 minutes - 100° - Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" reverse speed lowest speed Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"

Tip

Dont go any faster for speed when rice is in the bowl or you will just end up having thw rice turn into mush paste

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
