Definitely an easy to go to recipe. Home from walk at 6.25pm. Eating tea 7pm. Don't like mushrooms, so used 3 chopped tomatoes. Yes I'd use a little whit wine when cooking bacon. thick enough for us as we like lots of sauce + now have left overs for tomorrow night as hubby goes off to Rotary. So just me at home. Love it when I don't have to cook.

Thanks so much for your additions and feedback, I made this quickly for my little girls (1 and 3) so kept it pretty simple but I would definitely agree in adding the wine when making for myself! tmrc_emoticons.)

This is a great, quick recipe (good for a Sunday night dinner), however I would make few tweaks...- I'd add 20g white wine when sauteing the Bacon next time, for more flavour- I used freshly chopped parsley as I have some in the garden- I threw a handful of finely grated tasty cheese in the bottom of the thermoserve, then threw in the pasta, then threw the parmesan on top... I gave it a good mix and let it sit for 5mins in the thermoserve.I only had a 300g tub of cream and so, even after letting it sit, and with all the addition of cheese, it still didn't thicken up as much as I'd like... you may need to play with the quantities to get the consistency that you like that is to your taste.
