Ingredients

Pasta Sauce

  • 1 brown onion, peeled and halved
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Carrot large, roughly chopped
  • 1 celery stick, roughly chopped
  • 1 400g tin diced tomatoes
  • 320 g tin tomato soup
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt & pepper, to taste

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place onion, garlic, carrot, celery in mixing bowl and chop 3 sec/Speed 7

    Scrape sides of bowl. Add oil, tin tomatoes and tin soup and cook 13mins/100degrees/Gentle stir setting"Gentle stir setting"

    Add handful of fresh herbs like oregano, Italian parsley or basil

    Blend10-20sec/Speed 10, gradually increasing speed from 1-10

    Pour over your favourite cooked pasta

Tip

Suitable for TM31 & TM5 users.

Fry prawns and/or chorizo sausage in fry pan with oil, garlic and/or chilli and add to pasta before pouring over the tomato sauce.

    So easy, and I added capsicum, pumpkin and bacon! Kids don't even know they are eating so many veggies!!!

    This was quick and easy!! We added a teaspoon of veggie stockpaste for a little more flavour!

    This was a really quick and easy sauce to make. Even better the kids loved it and it had veggies all through it. I didn't have any celery so I added a small red capsicum and about 4 mushrooms. Yummy!
