  • 30 grams extra virgin olive oil
  • 10 grams salt, Ground rock salt preferably

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place basil and garlic in bowl and chop for 4 seconds speed 7.

    Add tomatoes and chop for 10 seconds speed 10.

    Add remaining ingredients and cook for 1 hour varoma temp speed 1-2

     

     

Tip

The amount of basil and garlic can be changed dependent on preference. Add chilli also if desired.

    Love this recipe.  I added Parsely as I have so much in my garden.  This is so much nicer than the bought stuff.  I freeze some in ice cube trays so I can easily grab when needed for cooking and some in small containers for pizza nights.  I make this whenever I can get my hands on some cheap cooking tomatoes.

    This was amazing. 

    I think i forgot to add the oil and added parsley as well as basil but it still ended up very tasty. will be making it again tomorrow with our left over tomatoes.

    got this cooking as we speak. Smells awesome I t says I need the simmering basket. But I can't see what for. Is it to replace the measuring cup whilst cooking? Thanks.

    Love it.  Very easy and a great way to use up them tarnished tomatoes. I also only cooked it for one hour and found consistency just right.

    Love this recipe, have used it couple of times now! Am still quite new to TM but have made this pizza sauce as well as pizza bases from EDC cookbook and it is a keeper! I also keep some sauce in ice cube trays and use a few to get a fuller flavour in pasta dishes. Healthy and delish! Few min prep and TM does the rest! tmrc_emoticons.)

    I love it. I also reduced the cooking time to 1 hour and the consistency was just right. Tastes great and can't wait for our next pizza night.

    tmrc_emoticons.)I tried this recipe and the pizza paste was really great.  I reduced the cooking time to one hour as it didn't need reducing any further.  Thanks for the recipe.
