Tomato relish
- 500g tomatoes, washed and 1/4rd
- 500g onions, brown or red, 1/2d
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 180g sugar raw
- 200g vinegar
- 1-1.5 tablespoon curry powder, I like Keens
- 1 tablespoon mustard, wholegrain
- 1.5 tablespoons *vinegar, extra
- 1.5 tablespoon *cornflour, *combine in a cup with vinegar above

- 1. Place tomatoes and onions in the "Closed lid" and chop sp4/5-10 secs.
2. Transfer to a colander, sprinkle with the salt and leave to drain for 1/2 hour.
3. Return to the "Closed lid" , add remaining ingredients ( except for those marked*) and cook on Varoma/35mins/"Gentle stir setting" . MC off and steaming basket in it's place.
4. Add the (*ingredients) and cook 100°C/2mins/"Gentle stir setting"
5. Ladle into serilised jars. Seal lids tightly and tip upside down to cool..creating a vacuum seal.
How to:
Tip
Delicious on a cracker with your favourite cheese, a sandwich with your favourite cold meat/salad or on a burger or steak.

Unfortunately this recipe does not say what the temperature should be on when cooking the tomatoes and onions . Very disappointing as I didnt realize till have way though cooking them . Had to refer to another recipe to see what temperature to cook it.
