Recipe's preparation

Nuts Bolts and Screws Party Mix
  1. Place butter and salts in the TM Bowl and melt for 6 mins, 70 degrees, Speed 1.

  2. While the butter is melting, mix the cereals and nuts together in 3 baking trays lined with baking paper.

  3. Pour melted butter evenly over the 3 baking trays of party mix, then bake in a oven (120 degrees) for 2 hours, stirring occassionally.

Tip

You can use any suitable cereal, I love rice chex if you can find them. Allow to cool before storing in an airtight container for 1-2 weeks. Great gifts in nice large glass jars. Perfect partner for party or BBQ as nibbles.

Party Thank you for sharing your recipe. I made mine in two roasting pans as I only have two shelves in my oven and found it easy to stir in the deep pan. I also added a bag of mixed nuts ( almonds, Brazil, hazel, pecan, cashew & walnuts ) instead of just using cashews and pecans. I'm putting some in jars to add to Christmas hampers and also using it for nibbles on Christmas Day, and possibly New Years as it makes a big batch.
