Ingredients

For the Slaw:

  • 350 g cabbage, cut into pieces
  • 2 carrots, cut into pieces
  • 1 red capsicum, cut into quarters
  • 2-3 spring onions/shallots, cut into quarters
  • 65 g peas, fresh or frozen defrosted
  • 5-7 sprigs fresh coriander, to taste

For the Dressing:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tamari, or soy sauce
  • 100 g apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey, or white sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Peanut Butter, or almond butter
  • 1 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 3 cm fresh ginger, peeled

Recipe's preparation

    Dressing:
  1. Put all dressing ingredients into TM bowl. Chop 20secs/speed10 and put aside in a small bowl. Do not wash bowl.

  2. Slaw:
  3. Put all (except peas) slaw ingredients into TM bowl. Chop 3secs/speed4, with aid of spatula.

  4. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula and repeat chopping 20secs/speed4. Repeat if necessary until desired consistency is achieved.

  5. Add to serving bowl, toss through the peas and pour dressing over the top.

Tip

- Use this slaw as a light lunch, a side dish or add your favourite protein of choice to turn it into a meal (steamed shredded chicken, yum).
- Add fresh chili to the dressing for heat.
