Ingredients
ALL-IN-ONE Banana bread with a Honey Cream Cheese Spread
- 50 g walnuts, optional
- 200 g SR flour
- 1 tsp bicarb soda
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 75 g brown sugar
- 500 g very ripe bananas, **This is the weight before peeling**
- 2 eggs
- 80 g Yogurt
- 60 g oil
- dash vanilla extract
Honey Cream Cheese spread
- 200 g cream cheese, chopped, room temperature
- 75 g honey

- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and line a good size loaf pan.
1. Add all the ingredients to the
"Closed lid" , in the order listed and blend sp4/20seconds.
2. Pour into the loaf pan and bake for app 45 minutes, or until cooked when tested.
3. Cool on a wire rack.
4. Cut into slices and serve spread with the Honey Cream Cheese Spread - 1. Add both ingredients to the "Closed lid" and blend sp 3.5/20 seconds or until nice and smooth.
2. Slather onto the sliced banana bread.

This was absoloutley a winner in our house! The cream cheese & honey spead was just spot on with it. The bread was light and fluffly with an amazing taste.

I tried this recipie but I did not make the honey cream cheese spread. The banana bread is an absoulte hit, easy and tastes amazing. My kids loved it and said it was much better than my normal Donna Hay version. Loved it!
