- 3/4 Cup of castor sugar
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 level teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 3 level tablespoons of cointreau
- zest of one orange
- 2 cups of plain flour
- 2 level teaspoons of baking powder
- 1/2 level teaspoon of baking soda/ bicarbonate of soda
- 1/2 level teaspoon of salt
- Glaze
- 1 Cup of icing sugar
- 3 level tablespoons of cointreau

Spray a Brunt tin with cooking/baking oil
Pre heat oven to 160 if fan forced switch to low fan
To your bowl add sour cream, eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, vanilla, cointreau, and orange zest - mix 1.30 minutes speed 5
Add flour, baking powder, baking soda/bicarb, salt and mix, 30 seconds, speed 4 - do not over mix
Pour batter into Brundt pan and cook 30-35 minutes or untill skewer comes out clean - rest for 10 minutes befor turning out
Glaze----- mix cointreau and icing sugar together and drizzle over the cooled cake
