Made these and love them! Thankyou
These are lovely. I read the comments and made some additions from the great suggestions. Also, the freezer tip for rolling was a life saver. I added blitzed sultanas that I soaked in 4 tbs of spiced rum (so doubled the rum for the recipe) and blitzed dark chocolate. I rolled half in chocolate sprinkles and the other half in the coconut.
I made a few changes, turned them into fudgey balls of deliciousness. Doubled the rum, reduced the condensed milk a bit and added an extra TB of cocoa (I like them rich and chocolatey!) Had to remind myself not to lick the blades
Made today but changed rum for baileys and coconut for crushed nuts. Still rolled in coconut though. Won't last long!
I made these using Marie biscuits and cacao powder. As they were for kids, I substituted 1 Tbl of peppermint essence for the rum. The kids loved them!!
I googled rum balls wanting to find the simple arrowroot biscuit recipe my mother in law made in the 1970’s and this was the first search and exactly the one I was searching for.
It was so easy, but we doubled the Rum (4 tablespoons) 😁👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you, follow a few comments and turned out nicely,
Delicious. I didn't have any Rum so used Grand Marnie instead. Made condensed milk as well so easy. Making a second batch now.
Awesome! I added some more rum and soaked some glacé cherries in rum and put one in the middle of each ball.
Perfect rum balls!
