I'm cooking this today

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C fan forced for 10mins.

Add the parmesan into the bowl to grate 1 min SPEED 9.

Place the cream cheese and mix for 20 sec SPEED 5.

Place all remaining ingredients into the bowl and mix for 1 min SPEED 5  to prepare your dough, scrap down the bowl and repeat if necessary.

With well greased hands (butter works really well) make small balls shape with the dough and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake in your pre-heated oven for roughly 15 -20 mins but check at 15mins or until puffed and just golden.

Tip

You can add 20g of Gruyere or tasty cheese and 80g of Parmesan.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

These are so easy to make and are amazing! I've made these numerous times for entertaining or just ourselves. My husband can't get enough of them. I freeze some balls raw then cook them from frozen when needed. So good!!!

There was no chance of rolling these into balls so I plopped them on a tray. Amazing!

Even tastier than store bought. I was lazy and used a spoon to put them on a tray, as the dough was very sticky to work with.

I made these tonight.  I used a pipping bag to give them shape then I put them into the freezer for about 5 minutes to hardened them up and then I rounded them a bit more they came out great really pleased with them.  Next time I will halve the parmesan and replace it with mozarella cheese.

I made these the other day, they tasted amazing however my mixture was very runny and hard to form into balls. I ended up spooning the mixture on the baking paper, they cooked fine but didn't rise very much. I followed the recipe exact, is there something I can do to improve?  I did mix twice as suggested but it didn't change anything, it was runny after the 1st mix..thanks for any suggestions

I just tried to make these and whilst they taste nice, they did not rise more than 1mm! Followed the recipe exactly but the dough was quite runny.

Hi.  Are they best served warm or would they work/keep made a day prior to eating?
