Sensational!!! The flavour was a rich consistency. Definately a winner with the family. Thanks

I made this but found that it was a bit bland, I didn't use the vegemite though so this could have been the issue.
I added a tablespoon of vege stock and a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste (as that is what I had handy) and then it was fine.
The sauce/gravy is a great consistancy.
Put mashed potato on top as I had no pastry.
Very nice, made it exactly according to instructions. Served with steamed veg

We really enjoyed it! Didn't have white pepper so just cracked in some black pepper, and also added bacon (because why not). Was very easy and delicious.
Very yummy left out vegimite and salt as i accidently added another tbsp of soy sauce lol and i used dried thyme instead of parsley as i love it with steak, added a beef stock cube and a bit of water, carrots, capsicum and corn will be making again.. thank you!
Many thanks
This was sooooooooooo yummy!!!! Went down an absolute treat with my whole family including my Mum who was visiting. My daughter couldn't believe there was vegemite in there, funny, but she loved it!!! Have a add to my fav's, def be a regular here!!
A bit too salty. Will leave out salt and use less Vegemite and soy sauce. But otherwise great!
We found this a lovely recipe to addapt to our own tastes. Used ground black pepper instead of white, 1/2tbs vegemite and also used maybe 400g steak and 200g-ish of mince - YUM
Thanks for cooking...Kazza
I used 500g premium beef mince and reduced the Vegemite to 1tsp and salt to 1/4tsp. Still a little salty for me. Next time I will skip the salt completely & add an extra tablespoon of cornflour as the mince (i assume) made the mixture a little runnier than I would've liked.
I aldo used a pie maker and ready made shortcrust/puff pastry for the bottom and top respectively.
Good recipe.
Delicious. I used eye fillet & left out both the vegemite & the salt & it was perfect for us. The meat was so tender & the gravy was great, definitely salty enough without the two ingredients I omitted.
I'll be making this one again!
