Ingredients

Boil Rice

  • 2 pieces fresh red chilli, De-seeded
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 Red onions, Peeled and quartered
  • 40 g vegetable oil
  • 60 g frozen peas, Defrosted
  • 150 g pineapple piece, canned, in syrup, drained and dried
  • 1.5 tsp salt, to taste

Recipe's preparation

    Cooking rice
  1. Wash rice and cook in TM basket for 20 Min on Varoma on SP4 with 900g water. Pour cooked rice into TM server with lid off and let it cool down for about 30 minutes.
  2. Place chilli, garlic and onion into TM bowl and blend for 5 seconds on SP5.
  3. Scrap down the sides of the bowl. Add oil and saute for 6 minutes on Varoma SP1.
  4. Place the butterfly into the TM bowl. Add the peas/green beans, into TM bowl and saute for another 2 minutes on Varoma and SP1.
  5. Then add the cooled rice and pineapples cooked for another 3 minutes on Varoma and SP1.
  6. Remove the cooked rice and place it in a large bowl and garnish with cut chillies and fried anchovies (optional).

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
