Pizza Mac and Cheese
- 90 g cheddar cheese, cubed
- 50 g parmesan, cubed
- 1.2 litres water
- 100 g zucchini, roughly chopped
- 100 g pumpkin, peeled, cubed
- 4 slices Bacon, diced
- 300 g macaroni
- 50 g plain flour
- 450 g Milk
- 30 g Butter, cubed
- 80 g tomato paste
- 1/4 green capsicum, diced
- 1 heaped teaspoon dried oregano

Places cheese into bowl. Grate 10 sec, spd 9. Set aside.
Place water into bowl and boil 10 min, varoma, spd 1.
Place pumpkin and zucchini in varoma dish and bacon to varoma tray. Set aside.
Add macaroni to water. Put varoma into position and cook 10 min, varoma, , spd 1. Drain pasta and place in thermoserver.
Put cooked vegetables into bowl and puree 10 sec, spd 8. Add to pasta.
Put flour, milk, butter, tomato paste into bowl. Cook 6min, 90, spd 4.
Add bacon, capsicum and reserved cheeses. Cook 2min, 90, , spd 2.
Stir sauce through pasta and veges and sprinkle with oregano.
Tip
You may want to add salt!
Make this a vegetarian dish by removing the bacon.
Would also be lovely with salami.
Please note this is a variation on the Sneaky Macaroni Cheese from Cooking for Your Baby and Toddler.
