I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Bring water to varoma temperature. Use hot water to make this faster.
Place salmon on baking paper in the varoma. Try place it to one side of the bottom tray to leave space for the broccoli. Steam for 3min / Varoma / speed 1
Add pasta to the bowl & place varoma on top. Cook 3min / Varoma / "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 1
Add broccoli to the varoma & cook for a further 5min / Varoma / "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 1
Drain pasta in simmering basket & then keep warm in your thermoserver
Place salmon & broccoli in the bowl & chop 2 seconds / speed 5. Add it to the thermoserver. I do this with toddlers in mind. If this meal was for adults you could skip this step & just roughly flake your salmon into your thermoserver & keep the broccoli bigger.
Place cheese in bowl & grate 5 seconds / speed 6. Set aside in a separate bowl. I do not clean the bowl in between steps as it's all going into the same dish & I don't want to lose nutrients.
Make bechamel sauce from recipe chip or EDC for TM31. Add your grated cheese & mix 15 seconds / speed 2.5 or until cheese is melted & incorporated. Mix sauce through pasta.
You can either serve this as is or bake it in an oven proof dish. For oven method sprinkle extra grated cheese on top (add extra 40g to step 7) & put under the grill until cheese is melted & bubbling.
Tip
If you would like to double the recipe then double all ingredients except the water. Steam the Salmon on top tray of varoma & broccoli on the bottom. Add 20% to cooking time.
While the pasta is cooking the water may start bubbling up into the varoma, to stop this pour a tablespoon of olive oil through the whole in the lid & continue as per recipe.
