Ingredients

Bolognese Sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 50g g olive oil
  • 500 g Beef mince
  • 1 leaf bay
  • pinch sea salt and black pepper
  • 1 tsp vegetta stock powder
  • 1 can tomato diced
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 sprig fresh parsley, leaves only
  • 1 brown onion, halved
  • 70 g Passata Sauce
  • 50 g water
  • 1 stalk Celery, chopped
  • 1 piece Carrott, chopped

Serve with pasta of your choice

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Place onion, garlic, parlsey, carrot and celery into mixing bowl and chop 5-7 secs/speed 2. Scrape down sides of bowl.

  2. Add oil, mince beef, bay leaf, salt and pepper, vegetta powder and cook 10min/100C/[lockedcounter-clockwise operation/speed1.

  3. Add all remaining ingredients and cook for 20-25mins/100C/counter-clockwise operation/speed 1. Remove bay leaf from sauce and serve with your choice of pasta.

Tip

If you prefer your sauce to be thicker add a tsp of corn flour in last few minutes of cooking.

If you prefer sauce to be thinner just add a few mls of water in last few minutes of cooking.

    Thanks for the recipe I found it delicious and I normally like a chunkier sauce. I also exchanged the water for red wine! Yummy def use again
