Ingredients

Sweet Potato Mash

  • 700 g sweet potato, stabbed a few time and should fit in the Varoma
  • 1 lime, chopped in half
  • 1 small bunch coriander
  • 2 tablespoons Mango Chutney
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

Steamed Greens

  • 200 g aspargus
  • 1 head Broccoli
  • 1 lime
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 fresh red chilli
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

Recipe's preparation

    Greens
  1. TX – chop chilli and garlic 2-3sec/ speed 7

    Remove

     

  2. Mash
  3. TX – add 800g water for steaming

    Varoma – add sweet potato and lime to bottom shelf

    Steam 40 min/ varoma / speed 1

     

  4. Steam Greens
  5. Varoma – add greens to bottom shelf after 20 minutes

     

  6. Mash
  7. Once everything is cooked

     

    Remove the Varoma and tip out the water

    TX – chop coriander 2-3 sec / speed 7

    Add chutney, soy sauce, ½ lime juice and sweet potato (which has had the cooked lime juice squeezed over it) and splash of soy sauce

    TX – 4 x Turbo

     

Tip

Jamie servers with fried fish fillets, or you could steam them for a healthier version.
