Ingredients
- 1 Broccoli Head, (roughly chopped)
- 1/2 sweet potato, (roughly chopped)
- 1 carrot, (roughly chopped)
- 2 tomatoes, halved
- 1 leek, (roughly chopped)
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 to 11/2 tablespoon Chicken Stock/Paste
- 120 g thickened cream, (Lactose free also great)
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 600g water
- 20 g olive oil

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Place leek into mixing bowl, chop 2 sec/speed 6.
2. Add cumin and oil and saute 2-3 min/100°C/ speed 1.
3. Add Broccoli, sweet potato, carrot, tomato, stock, chilli flakes and water. Cook for 20 min/100°C/speed 2.
5. Blitz for 1 min on speed 10.
6. Add cream and cook for 2 min/100°C/speed 2.
7. Add pepper to taste.

We didn't enjoy this and found it bland however I will point out we didn't put chilli in as I struggle with them. I'm sure this must be the key ingredient as without it the flavours blended too much.
The star rating is only based on our experience of the taste which we obviously adjusted the recipe, it was easy to make and a nice consistency.
This was delicious. Hubby was sure we were having tacos and was a bit surprised to get soup...but not disappointed because it was delicious!

Love it! It's an absolutely delicious soup.I also added some parsnip and zucchini (had to use them up), and for the last 40 seconds before blitzing, I've added an inch of ginger. YUM!Thank you for a great recipe!

this soup is delicious, the cummin and cayenne pepper give it a lovely spicy kick.
i had no brocoli s used zucchini as a substitute.
Great soup that i wll definately be putting on the regular winter menu
