I added a teaspoon of turmeric just gave it a healthier option. Thanks for the recipe this soup is delicious.
Yummy soup. We all enjoyed it so much. Thanks for the recipe.
Quick tasty soup. I cheated. A little and used homemade chicken paste which had great flavour. We also had some leftover roast chicken so I added that with the noodles. I’m not sure if the noodles are meant to disintegrate a little but they did and added body to the soup. Definitely adding this to our takeaway meals list

Very wholesome soup but lacked a bit of flavour acccording to the fam.
Next time, I will try sautéing garlic, chilli and ginger first as suggested.
My husband and I both love this soup. The chilli makes it a great winter warmer and I followed the suggestion to add ginger and garlic. This will be a regular winter favourite for us.
I also add garlic and a diced up potato and use frozen veggies. A versatile quick and easy meal. Easy to have a warm delicious meal when coming in late from kids winter sports training.
Added 1 small potato, 1/4 c froze mix vege in lieu of some ingredients I didn't have. Added garlic and noodles will be udon. Small tablespoon of tomato paste too. Got a sick kid home so hoping a good chicken soup will cure!
Great recipe thanks for sharing.
I sauted the onion and celery leaves added garlic too. I also put parsley in in the last 5 minutes. Didn't have noodles in the pantry so used spaghetti.
Great flavor in such a short time.
Soup made on this recipe alone was OK, lacked flavour though so I added more stock and a can of creamed corn and it turned the soup into a hit. The chilli was nice and warm on the throat which was nice while I suffer a head cold
My go to Chicken Soup. I love the addition of the Celery leaves
