Ingredients:
- 1 onion, peeled and quartered
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 20 g olive oil
- 500 g water
- 1-2 tbsp vegetable stock concentrate, (EDC)
- 1 large potato, quartered
- 3 bunches asparagus
- 250 g Milk
- few drops Tabasco sauce, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1. Place onion and garlic into TM bowl, chop 2-3 seconds/speed 7 and scrape down.
2. Add oil and saute 3 minutes/Varoma/speed 1.
3. Add potato, chop 2-3 seconds/speed 4, add vegetable stock concentrate and cook 15 min/100 deg/speed soft.
4. Snap woody ends from asparagus spears and discard, or peel and cut up roughly.
5. Cut 4cm tips from asparagus and place in simmering basket; cut stalks into 2 cm pieces.
6. Add asparagus stalks to TM bowl, place simmering basket into position and cook 7 min/100deg/speed soft.
7. Using spatula remove simmering basket and set aside.
8. Add milk and very slowly turn to speed 10 and blend for 30 seconds or until smooth.
9. Reheat 2 minutes/100degrees/speed soft and season to taste with Tabasco sauce.
10. Serve topped with asparagus tips and freshly ground black pepper.

I could not work out where to put water so didn’t use
