Ingredients

Marmite sauce

  • 2 tablespoon marmite
  • 100 g Butter

Cheese puffs

  • 160 g self raising flour (1 cup)
  • 140 g Cheddar cheese (1 cup)
  • 230 g milk (1 cup)
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon English mustard powder

Recipe's preparation

    Cheese puffs
  1. Set oven to 180. Add all ingredients into TM bowl. set 1 min/counter-clockwise operation/speed 3. Once mixed take a teaspoon and spoon into patty pans.


    Bake 10- 15 minutes until golden. Allow to cool.

  2. Marmite sauce
  3. add marmite and butter into TM bowl. Set 3 min/70deg/speed 3.


     


    Pour over cheese puffs and serve immediatly

Tip

Best results are to allow the puffs to cool completly and then reheat them so that they crisp up. then pour over marmite sauce.

    brilliant. didn't do the marmite topping and didn't need it. Did 100g tasty cheese and 40g parmesan. kids loved it. will be a lunchbox favourite.

    yum! there were tasty! I used vegemite instead, but same same. kids loved them too, but i cant stop eating them :P fresh is so good!

    How much salt did you put in. I have made this recipe numerous times and never had a salt issue.

    I didn't use the marmite or mustard powder. I thought they were great!  A nice and tasty extra to a meal. Yummy!!

    Way too much salt in recipe, couldn't eat product, had to throw the lot away.
