        2. Drain liquid and keep as stock.
  1. To Shred Chicken
  2.

Place chicken in bowl and mince 4 sec / speed 4 / Reverse. Set aside.

  3. Creamy Mushroom Sauce
  4.

    1. Place milk, cream and packets of soup in TM bowl and cook 10 mins / 90°C / speed 4.
    2. Add curry blend and shredded chicken and cook 5 mins / 90°C / spoon soft / Reverse.
    3. Spoon chicken mixture into vol au vent cases and place in a moderate oven for approx 10 mins.

Tip

This fills 24 small vol au vent cases or 12 medium.

The vol au vents are perfect as a savoury finger food.

Can also serve with rice and salad or vegetables.

The mixture freezes well.

This recipe was given to me about 10 years ago which I've always done in a pot.  So much easier in the TM where no standing by the stove and stirring the sauce until it thickens is required!  tmrc_emoticons.)

This was a great recipe! Might tone down the curry flavour next time. The mixture filled exaclty 8 Woolworths brand vol-au-vent cases. I served this as a main dish with chicken flavoured rice and a salad. It was a hit!

Thanks for a great recipe. I make this reguarly. i wizz carrot and zuchini before i start the sauce, leave in the bowl and then continue as normal. It makes more than i need so i freeze the left over mix and grab it out on busy nights to make a quick dinner. Tasty and loved by our kids.

Amazing taste, definately on our recipe rotation. I added one finely sliced spring onion, a couple of roughly chopped baby spinach leaves and some mushrooms, cut into small pieces in the chicken addition stage. In last 5 minutes of oven cooking time I sprinkled some grated tasty cheese on top of each.... Soo good  Love

So yummy! With heaps of the cream/sauce leftover for pasta tomorrow. Thanks for sharing tmrc_emoticons.)

Can you use other flavours of soup? OR is mushroom the only one that works??

  • 22. September 2015 - 19:27

Absolutely delicious.  Added spinach in the last step.  Put the mix in vol au vent cases, baked, and the kids cleaned up every last scrap!
