Crustless Bacon & Vegetable Quiche
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic clove
- 1 Onion peeled and quatered
- 150g broccoli florets
- 150g cauliflower florets
- 200g Sour Cream Light
- 50g Milk or pouring cream
- 6 eggs
- 120g Tasty cheese
- 100g Fetta cheese crumbled
- 1 Tomato cut in half and sliced
- Salt and papper to taste
- Mixed Italian or French herb mix to sprinkle on top
- 200g Bacon chopped

- Prepare baking dish, grease or line with baking paper
- Add 120g tasty cheese to the mixing bowl and Chop 7 sec speed 9, Empty and set aside
- Add 400g water to the mixing bowl, place varoma dish ontop of the lid and weigh in 150g broccoli florets cut small & 150g cauliflower florets cut small and Cook/Steam 10min / Varoma temp / speed 3
- Remove the Varoma, set aside and empty the water from the mixing bowl .
- Preheat the oven @ 180c ff oven
- Add oil, onion and garlic to the mixing bowl and chop 3 sec / speed 5 Scrape the sides of the mixing bowl
Add 200g chopped bacon and cook 5 min / 120c temp / Reverse speed1 . Place simmeringbasket ontop of the lid. Empty and set aside to cool. - Add 6 eggs, 200g sour cream, 50g milk or pouring cream, reserved grated tasty cheese and salt & pepper Mix 4 sec / Reverse / speed 3 or until well combined, repeat if necessary.p
- Arrange the broccoli and cauliflower florets in the baking dish. Top with reserved bacon & onion mixture and tomato slices. Top with 100g fetta crumbled plus extra grated cheese.
Pour the reserved egg mixture all over evenly and sprinkle with some mixed Italian of French herb mix.
Bake the quiche in pre-heated oven at 180c ff for 35 to 40 min or until cooked and golden on top. - Take the quiche out the oven and let it rest for 10 min before cutting and serving .
Serve with side salad.
