Recipe's preparation

    For the filling
  1. Prep vegetables (peel onion, trim ends off vegetables) and cut into 4cm pieces.
  2. Add to bowl, chop on Blend"Blend" 5 Slow Cooking"Slow Cooking" 8 seconds
  3. Scrape down sides of bowl. Add mince, sauce, eggs, salt and mixed herbs. Combine Blend"Blend" 4 Slow Cooking"Slow Cooking" 20 seconds
  4. Add breadcrumbs and combine a further Slow Cooking"Slow Cooking" 10 seconds Blend"Blend" 4
  5. To assemble
  6. Place mixture onto puff pastry sheet and roll. Cut off excess pastry and use to make another sausage roll.
  7. Continue until all the mixture is used.

    Cut to your preferred size.
  8. Brush sausage rolls with egg wash and bake in oven or air fryer on 185 degrees for 25 minutes.
  9. Enjoy ☺️

Tip

I get two full sized sausage rolls out of one sheet of puff pastry.

I then cut each sausage roll in half to make two smaller ones.

3 sheets of puff pastry gets me 12 decent sized sausage rolls total.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
