Ingredients

Wholemeal pizza dough

  • 225 g wholemeal flour, needs to be in the bread section (strong, high protein - I use lighthouse)
  • 1 teaspoon dried instant yeast
  • 5 g salt
  • 160 g warm water, from tap - warm to touch but not too hot
  • 10 g olive oil

Recipe's preparation

    Wholemeal pizza bases (makes 2 pizzas)
  1. Put the yeast and a little bit of the water in a small side bowl and mix together, put remaining water in and mix it all.

    Then, put all ingredients into TM bowl (including the yeast and water) and mix in TM bowl for 10 seconds on speed 5, then use the kneading function for 2 minutes (TM6) until it comes together.

    If you have a TM5/31 - you can do intervals of speed 4 in 2 minutes.

    Grease a bowl with olive oil (extra) and get the dough out of the bowl, shape it into a ball and put in the greased bowl. Cover with cling wrap and put in a warm spot until it doubles in it's size.

    Put flour on surface, cut into 2 and roll out and then add your toppings - put in the ovana or in the oven.

    I made this recipe as a family member has stomach issues and can only eat W/M. Enjoy!
