I used a mini donut maker for these, which took about 4 minutes to cook each batch. I guess you could use a donut pan but I'm not sure how long they'd need to be in the oven for (my oven is difficult to work with, so I avoid it whenever possible).

Tip

I used medjool dates for this recipe.

I adapted this from the Sticky Date Pudding recipe in The Basic Cook Book.

Would also work in the TM31.

This made about 20 donuts in my mini donut maker. Each one was little more than a mouthful (which is why my toddler and I ate them almost as fast as we could cook them).

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

    Delicious, thanks Chloe.

I used buck wheat instead of oats and Macadamia oil instead of butter as I needed them to be dairy and grain free.

I baked them in my mini donut tray for 7 mins at 180 degrees. It made 28.
