Ingredients
BEEF, MUSHROOM & CARROT CASSEROLE VARIANT
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1 --- brown onion, peeled & quartered
- 20 grams olive oil
- 500 grams Casserole Steak (Gravy Beef, Chuck or Rump Steak, dices into 2-3cm cubes
- 1.5 tablespoons plain flour
- 20 grams Worcestershire sauce
- 2 carrots, peeled & sliced
- 120 grams water
- 1 level tablespoon TM beef stock concentrate
- 50 grams Tomato Pizza Sauce with herbs
- 2 bay leaf
- 200 grams mushrooms, chopped and sliced

- 1.Chop garlic and onion in TM for 3 secs on Speed 7.
2.Add olive oil and saute for 4 mins at 100°C on "Counter-clockwise operation" Speed"Gentle stir setting" . MC off.
3. Add diced meat and cook for 7 mins at 100°C on
"Counter-clockwise operation" Speed"Gentle stir setting" . MC off.
4. Add flour and cook for 1 min on 100°C on "Counter-clockwise operation" Speed"Gentle stir setting" .
5. Add worcestershire sauce and cook for 2 min on 100°C on "Counter-clockwise operation" Speed"Gentle stir setting" .
6. Add carrot, mushrooms, TM beef stock concentrate, water, and tomato pizza sauce with herbs and bay leaf. Cook for
35 mins at 98°C. MC on. "Counter-clockwise operation" Speed"Gentle stir setting" .
Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Serve with your choice of mashed potatoes, rice or crusty bread rolls

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
