Ingredients

Curry Beef Bombay

  • 750 g round steak, diced 2cm pieces
  • 200 g apple
  • 150 g carrots
  • 1 onion, halved
  • 1 garlic
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder, Use 1 teaspoon for a milder curry
  • 2 tablespoons Evoo
  • 10 g Coconut sugar
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 230 g water
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons sultanas
  • 1 tablespoon TM vegetable stock concentrate
  • 300 g coconut milk
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Recipe's preparation

    Chop Carrot & Apple
  1. Place apple and carrot in the bowl and chop 3 sec, speed 5.
    Set aside.


     

  2. Sauteeing
  3. Place halved Onion and garlic in the bowl and chop 3 sec, speed 7.
    Scrape down the bowl and add the EVOO
    Saute for 2 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1.
    Add the curry powder and stir for 1 min, speed 3
    Add sugar, lemon juice and meat and stir Reverse counter-clockwise operation, 10 sec, speed 2.

  4. Cooking
  5. Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook for 60 min, Reverse counter-clockwise operation, 100 degrees, speed 1-2.
    With 1 minute to go, add coconut milk.

Tip

Great served with your favourite rice tmrc_emoticons.)

If you are making this for younger kids, go easy on the curry powder (level teaspoon is probably enough)

    I liked it but had to add more spices and maybe green veges to give it more flavour and bulk up. Some fresh chili would be a nice addition to give it a kick. Going to attempt this again. Thanks for sharing.
