  • 2 med Red Capscium
  • 2 med Red onions
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable stock
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 250 grams French Green Lentils
  • 950 grams filtered water
  • 20 grams Oil leftover from bottled Sundried Tomatoes
  • 120 grams almond pulp, leftover from making almond milk
  • 20 grams Kecap Manis (sweet soy)
  • 50 grams Baby Spinach Leaves, wash the spinach leaves

Recipe's preparation

    Hotpot
  1. Cut the green stems off the red capsicums.  I like to leave the seeds this is optional. Cut capsicums into large chucks . 
    Peel and quarter red onions. 
    Peel garlic cloves.
    Add capsicum, onions and garlic to the TM bowl. Chop for 3 sec on sp 7
    add the oil and cook for 3 mins on reverse varoma temp.
    Add vegetable stock and filtered water plus french green lentils cook for
    20 mins varoma temp sp 1 reverse.
    Add almond pulp and Kecap Manis and cook for another 10 mins.
    Add baby spinach and cook another 5 mins.

    Thank you bellageorge, this recipe is really yummy. It is easy to make substitutions and with a little extra water it can go even further. My family loved it, especially the smallest member! Love

    Thanks for posting this. It is delecious. Great way to use up extra almond pulp and its so easy. I didnt have any olive oil from chili so just used olive oil and added chili flakes. I had no problem fitting that amount of water in.

    I am making this and noticed that I can't fit that much water into the thermomix!! Is that much correct?
